Remington Typewriter Model #7
Description
Remington Noiseless Model Seven typewriter. Tested and working impeccably.
This hard to find in such great condition machine was made in France from U.S. parts in about 1934.
Still in Pristine condition, the keys flow like a hot knife through butter, it is quiet as a gnat burping. Think Cadillac, or Mercedes quality - a finely tuned machine with all of the features you could ask for.
The Model Seven, the big brother of the Noiseless Portable, has a full-sized paper table, a tabulator, black plastic keytops, and a carriage return lever that is long and horizontal rather than short and vertical.
Its original price was $105 (according to an original Remington tag in Peter Weil's collection).
In today's terms that amount is about $2,500 - or about the same as a top end home computer.
The unit and case weigh approx. 20lbs. Perhaps the world's next best seller will be written on this machine!
Includes case and original Instruction sheet.
