BC Ocean Picture Stone is a rare, semi-precious material found exclusively in a small inland deposit near Midway, British Columbia. It is distinct from the common orbicular Ocean Jasper found in Madagascar; instead, it is a combination of blue and white chalcedony, silicated serpentine, limonite, and agate that naturally forms "pictures" of shorelines, waves, and horizons.
